Everybody's racing to build data centers - somebody has to power them. GEV is tonight's free idea.

The S&P 500 (SPY) rose +0.32% to close at 765.91 while the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) outpaced it with a +0.62% gain to 710.72. Tech (XLK) led all sectors at +0.94%, and Energy (XLE) lagged at -1.66%.

Inside tonight's sheet: 4 new orders - 4 Mean Reversion and Surge Pullback limits resting quietly below the market, waiting for Wednesday's weakness to come to them. One of them - GEV, tonight's free Mean Reversion setup - is open to everyone right below.

GEV - GE Vernova Inc Common

GE Vernova is the energy business spun off from General Electric in April 2024. It builds and services the equipment that generates and delivers electricity - gas and steam turbines, nuclear reactors, onshore and offshore wind turbines - along with the grid hardware and software that moves that power, making it a core supplier to utilities and to the data-center buildout driving new electricity demand.

Entry limit: $898.93 - Exit: sell 8/31/26 at open

Last close $926.73 (-1.6%) - volume 2.0M (20-day average 2.1M) - 52-week range $546.95 to $1,174.86 (-21% off the high) - ATR (14 days) $42.10

Mean Reversion. The most-watched names in the market get defended. This sleeve owns two doors into that bounce: a violent one-day hit inside a healthy longer-term uptrend, and a deep morning markdown on an already washed-out household name. Either way we are the standing buyer into the fear, out within days.

How we trade it

Entry: This household name is deeply washed out. Our limit rests slightly under yesterday's price, so a harsh morning markdown fills us right at the open - we are the standing buyer into the fear.

Size: Put about 5% of your account into each name, up to 10 of them at once — the order basket lists the exact percent per name.

Exit: Sell at the open on Monday, August 31 - two full trading days in the trade, then out at the next bell. Set a dated market-on-open sell for that date now and the exit happens without you.

Risk: No stop on this one - the two-day clock is the exit and position size is the risk control. A falling market does not change the schedule - we still leave on time.
